A beautiful black opal (N1) from the Coocoran field in Lightning Ridge.
This stone is directional but has a lovely two-toned, bright kick of red and green. There is a sand inclusion on one side but would be hidden once bezel set.
Stone is well cut and polished with good thickness, medium dome and nice setting/beveled edges.
